Sweet Water Farm offers riding instruction for people of all ages and skill levels. 

Lessons...Safety First 

In addition to mounted instruction, you will also learn ground basics essential to safe horsemanship.  Students are always welcome to spend time in the barn to learn more about horse care, grooming, feeding, etc.

Our standard lessons run 45 minutes to an hour.  We also offer half lessons for children.  We have lesson packages and discounted rates for boarders.

Lessons are available in private or group sessions either on your horse or one of our schoolmasters.

Lessons are taught in a practical, easy to understand manner.  Your lesson program will be designed for you depending on your interest and skill level.  Alison provides creative, safety conscious instruction.  A long time student herself, Alison understands the importance of keeping lessons progressive and interesting to help you reach your equine goals.  Students vary from complete beginners learning the basics to active competitors preparing for that next big show.

Training

Training is also available for your horse.  We have qualified, experienced trainers that can help your horse achieve his full potential.  Whether you need a young horse backed for the first time, a horse retrained for a new career or a horse that just needs some spit and polish, Sweet Water Farm can accommodate.  Training is available on a per session basis and also in training board.
