Boarding
Trusting your horse in someone else’s care can be a leap of faith. Sweet Water Farm wants you to be able to sleep at night knowing that your horse is safe and well cared for.
On the same note, we want your horse to live as nature intended. We do our best not to micromanage your equine friend. We want him/her to be a healthy, well adjusted horse. Your horse will be provided with full turnout, weather permitting. In addition, he/she will also be provided with a simple balanced diet of grain and hay. Owner supplied supplements can also be administered. Fresh water is always available both in the stall and in the pasture. We also have a large run-in attached to the barn. We do our best to maintain a clean, safe environment in and out of the barn. Boarders are entitled to full use of the barn, arena, tack room and wash stall.
Owner/manager lives on premises and there is 24 hour supervision of the facility.
Our full care board is extremely affordable!
Additional Boarding Services
We understand that life is busy and people have to work! There are times that you might not be able to drop everything and run to the barn to change a wrap or meet the farrier.
We have additional services available for our boarders including blanketing, boot and wrap application. We can also provide vet and farrier supervision. Please call for rates and details
For your horse’s safety, all boarders are required to have their horses on a regular health care schedule including shots, worming, and hoof care, at the borders expense. A current year negative Coggins test and routine vaccinations are required of all incoming horses.
